The Festival de Cine de Lima is a film festival that takes places each year by the La Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú. Usually, people living in remote or rural villages rarely have the opportunity to watch award winning films and animations circulating in festivals. Our partner, the Lobitos Cinema Project, curated films from the festival to be shown in classrooms in Talara and Lobitos. The entire Lobitos community was welcomed to a noche de cine on the streets to watch as a community.
